This is going to be a short double one. I was ill yesterday.

Had to look to see if that was a typo. Beyond college? lol. I'm one of the very few in my family to even go to college. In my world, every day is an adventure. Endless opportunities to learn and become humbled - working with behaviors, well it's never boring. I sat through an inservice on Friday. Recently sat through CPR and first aid recertification too. The last college experience involved medical management and accounting. This time it's going to be psychology. We'll see what happens. All those years of writing and navigating complex medical conditions doesn't equate to respect.

It was rough. I was blessed with acne and parents who did not believe in wearing makeup, due to their religious belief system at that time. There wasn't a day that went by, that I wasn't suicidal and depressed about my life situation. People were mean. All I could do was pray. When I turned 16, I got a job in sales - life changed. Even got the full ugly swan transformation. And that? Well it's a different kind of bullying, still unwelcome.
