I thought about this often, especially over the last five years as I had to rebuild my life. Where would I go? Would I even want to leave? So many questions. Yet I lived the answer. I love Kansas. Living here is comfortable. Everyone is friendly and there is so much space. It's such a great place to live and beautiful. I would love to travel and probably will one day but I would choose to live here. There are so many fun little adventures in a big city, low traffic, and seasonal weather. Feels complete to me. I've had way more mental arguments over city/rural locations than actually leaving Wichita. There's a nice medium. I found it.

Okay maybe it's more than a medium. Living by a mirror lake with these kinds of sunrises/sunsets? It's almost like a religous experience, to be that stunned by the immersion view.
