Well I have a younger brother, only a year difference between us, so there were a lot of dares. Mostly competition related, not anything stupid, mean spirited or dangerous. And I ended the fun of the 'dare' concept as teenagers when I dared to him to find out what would happen to him if he ever shot me with a water gun again.
I haven't been shot with a water gun since.
However... we currently share a house together - both raising our kids as single parents. My two nephews love water guns. I'm training my kids to love water balloons. It'll be a balanced fair fight. Maybe.
