#145 -Talk about something you always wanted to learn how to do but didn't. Explain why you were drawn to it and what kept you from pursuing it.

This is hard because I'm fully capable of self research and entertainment. I very much enjoy learning. Ignorance is not bliss in my world. If there is something I would do but haven't? It's probably due to an obstacle. Money or time.

Once again, it was a rainy day here in Wichita. My stress levels were pretty high.

Stress? Isn't the same for me. Stress to me is analyzing and predicting where the obstacles exist so that I can complete the medical mission successfully. Which occurred today. A successful mission.

It's been a long day for me. Julia had a dental appointment and it required her using a walker, instead of her wheelchair. The clinic has an x-ray machine however it is designed for people who can stand. Anyway, not that big of a deal and it's great they could accommodate - so many places cannot. Julia can use her walker but it's not nearly as safe for her and the risks of falls increases, especially in an unfamiliar environment. Stress levels up = no room for error. Basically.

These kinds of medical adventures have been a huge part of my life. What most people don't know? This type of lifestyle - incredibly powerful and fun. I don't have fear as I walk around. It fits my personality and led to my career today.

As a parent, I have lived through so many challenges/obstacles that life became easier for me. It just compounds, these life lessons and skills. Despite this truth - many people observe us with pity in mind. I know this - and it's always eased by a conversation. Living by example, is natural for me. We all can learn from one another, ease the burdens of grief and make our environment pleasant, healthier and safer. It takes time and effort.

So back to the prompt, things I would do - um, adventure hikes. Especially involving caves and other natural structures. I would spend more time in nature - exploring. Chasing challenges. Specializing as needed. I feel like that is a state of being vs an accomplished task on a bucket list.
