I simply ran out of time tonight. So instead...

a painting that fits the current moment. Apparently we're going to get another snow storm tomorrow, despite it being spring.

I feel like this one captures so much of that dynamic.

In addition, a flipped close up - of the waves.

I'm no longer drowning.

~And that's important for me to recognize. The whole point of journaling is to capture these illusive emotional achievements. I don't know how to do that with just words. Painting provides so much more accuracy and retrospect opportunity.
