It's been nearly 14 hours and I finally got a chance to sit down. Today has been a special challenge. I must be delusional because I don't even feel tired. Sure, I'm probably riding a well deserved high but one day I'd like to not live on the survival edge this way. If I could break it all down, no one would even believe me.
Long story short - both Jake and Julia have the flu - type A.
But that wasn't all. A trip to the ER to get x-rays - currently waiting to find out if Jake broke his arm last week.
They're both miserable. I haven't seen Jake this sick in a long time. I'm currently trying to figure out the rest of their school week and my work issues. It seems overwhelming so I'm just going to take it day by day.
Oh and there's a snow storm coming. Which is what I'm checking on now. I managed a quick trip to the grocery store tonight.
That's a cold forecast. At least it should go above freezing within a couple days. The kids are going to be out of school that entire time. Yikes.
